Dispatch Decision Making in an Air Medical Transport System

In 2016 The University of Toronto published the following study regarding Dispatch Decision Making in Air Medical Transport Systems. Findings determined that design points deal with three main goals: maintaining situational awareness, matching resources to transfer, and planning & logistics of transfer. The findings of this study were used to help improve the design of computer aided dispatch (CAD) software to better support the goals of dispatchers.
